The Australian Plant Name Index (APNI) is a tool for the botanical community that deals with plant names and their usage in the scientific literature, whether as a current name or synonym. APNI does not recommend any particular taxonomy or nomenclature. Comment:Although Chinnock attributes lectotypification of this name to C.R.Marsden, the thesis in which the designation first appeared was not effectively published under ICN Art. 30.9 (Shenzhen Code, 2018). Chinnock's designation is here considered to constitute effective lectotypification under ICN Art. 7.11 (Shenzhen Code, 2018).
