APC Comment: Two subspecies were recognised in this species in Flora of Australia (Hill, 1998), but are no longer maintained. C. canalis subsp. canalis was included in the synonymy of C. lane-poolei by de Laubenfels & Adema (1998). C. canalis subsp. carinata was included in the synonymy of C. angulata by de Laubenfels & Adema (1998). -
