Bromus catharticus Vahl, legitimate, scientific secondary reference apni
Green, P.S. in Wilson, A.J.G. (ed.) (1994), Norfolk Island & Lord Howe Island. Flora of Australia 49: 466-467 [secondary reference]
taxonomic synonym: Festuca unioloides Willd. legitimate taxonomic synonym: Ceratochloa unioloides (Willd.) P.Beauv. legitimate misapplication: Bromus arenarius Labill. legitimate by Maiden, J.H. (1904), The Flora of Norfolk Island. Part i. Proceedings of the Linnean Society of New South Wales 28(4): 752
  • Comment: The authority for Ceratochloa unioloides is given as "(Willd.) Kunth in F.W.H.A. von Humboldt, A.J.A.Bonpland & K.S.Kunth, Nov. Gen. Sp. 1: 115 (1816)". However the name does not appear on page 115, and this is presumably a reference to Bromus unioloides (p. 151).
