Smith, J.E. in Rees, A. (ed.) (20 August 1811), The Cyclopaedia 18: [Jacksonia sp. no. 2] [comb. nov.] BHL
basionym: Gompholobium spinosum Labill. legitimate
  • Comment: Although contained in an entry signed "S." (for J.E.Smith), this new combination is ascribed to "Brown MSS" and Smith states that it was "defined in an unpublished sheet of the third volume of the Hortus Kewensis, kindly communicated to us by Mr. Brown...". On this basis authorship of the name is here accepted as ascribed following ICN Art. 46.2 (Melbourne Code, 2012).
