• Text: "Chambers and Farrant (1998, p. 381) cited the type of the name Lomaria vulcanica as ‘muur over de hotte van Goenoeng Batoe [Gede] wak of the Crater of G. Batae [wall of crater of Gunung Batu, Indonesia], coll. Unknown; holo: L’. This is here treated as effective lectotypification by Chambers and Farrant, in accordance with ICN Art. 7.11 (Turland et al. 2018). Because Chambers and Farrant’s citation meets the relevant requirements of ICN Art. 7.11, their use of the term ‘holo’ is correctable under ICN Art. 9.10. The subsequent lectotypification of this name by Chambers and Farrant (2012, p. 61) on the same material at L is, thus, superfluous."
