Rutaceae Juss.
Correa Andrews , nom. cons., scientific
Andrews, H.C. (1798), The Botanist's Repository for New, and Rare Plants 1: t. 18 [tax. nov.]
  • Type: Correa alba Andrews
  • Comment: nom. cons. vs CORREIA Vellozo (1788) nom. rej. (ref. I.C.B.N. (1978) No. 4031). Stafleu & Cowan, Tax. Lit. ed. 2, 1 (1976) 51 give the author as "probably ... John Kennedy", but as there is no such indication in the work itself, Andrews has been accepted here as the author. See also paper by P.G.Wilson, Austral. Pl. 1(11) (1962) 3–4, 15–18, 27 entitled "The Genus Correa". For a brief note on nomenclature see Taxon 8 (1959) 299–300.
