The Australian Plant Census (APC) is a list of the accepted scientific names for the Australian vascular flora, ferns, gymnosperms, hornworts and liverworts, both native and introduced, and includes synonyms and misapplications for these names. The APC covers all published scientific plant names used in an Australian context in the taxonomic literature, but excludes taxa known only from cultivation in Australia. The taxonomy and nomenclature adopted for the APC are endorsed by the Council of Heads of Australasian Herbaria (CHAH).

Hybrids are known between C. dallachiana and C. peltata (as 'C. dimorpha') (Hill & Johnson, 1995). Hybrids/intergrades are recorded for Qld between C. leichhardtii and C. peltata ('C. dimorpha') (Hill & Johnson, 1995). Hybrids are known in Qld between C. peltata ('C. dimorpha') and C. tessellaris. Two subspecies were recognised in this taxon when it was in Eucalyptus, but the equivalent combinations do not exist in Corymbia. The taxon previously known as Eucalyptus peltata subsp. dimorpha is now considered to be based on intergrade material between C. leichhardtii and C. peltata (Euclid 2006). -
