Species Perameles myosuros Wagner, 1841 (extinct)

Introduction

Multiple original spellings of myosuros occur in the text and table of contents of Wagner (1841) with the name myosurus used in the title only. Jackson & Groves (2015) believed the use of myosurus was in error (lapsus calami) and cited Wagner's subsequent usage, and the erroneous masculine gender of mysurus when combined with Perameles, as evidence.
