However, the original description by Meyrick states that the specimen is in collection Lower, and a note in ANIC lists the holotype as being at the SAMA, citing label data "Cairns Q Coll Lower" and "794", with 794 in Meyrick's identification list to Lower being "Acrocercops ennychodes n. sp.".

Introduction

According to De Prins & De Prins (2005: 37), the holotype is at the BMNH. However, the original description by Meyrick (1921) states that the specimen is in collection Lower, and a note in ANIC lists the holotype as being at the SAMA, citing label data "Cairns Q Coll Lower" and "804", with 804 in Meyrick's identification list to Lower being "Acrocercops grammatacma n. sp.".
