Syntype(s) RMNH 5941, Sumatra Java, Ambon Island, Indonesia; RMNH 4383, Sumatra Java, Ambon Island, Indonesia; RMNH 4384, Sumatra Java, Ambon Island, Indonesia.
Introduction
The species is known from Indonesia just north of Australia. Records from Australia are thought to be misidentification of other species, possibly U. kaianus. We retain the name tentatively pending a revision of Australian species.
