Introduction

The only known species of Fletcherobrachys is associated with arid and semi-arid areas of Western Australia and the Northern Territory. One female is recorded from a locality described as Everard Ranges (SA) to Warburton Range (WA) so the species may also occur in South Australia.

Ecological Descriptors

All stages: phloem feeder.

 

Diagnosis

Only species of the genus, immediately recognized among all Australian Eurybrachidae by the colour of hind wings (base red, rest white bordered with black) and of the tegmina (blackish covered with small paler spots). (Constant 2006)
