Ecological Descriptors

Adult: diurnal, herbivore (associated flora: Acacia aulacocarpa A.Cunn. ex Benth. [FABACEAE] Black Wattle (on leaves); Acacia mangium Willd. [FABACEAE] Hickory Wattle (on leaves); Acacia leptostachya Benth. [FABACEAE] Townsville Wattle (on leaves)), volant.

Larva: wood-borer.

Extra Ecological Information

Brooks (1948) recorded this species from flowers of Acacia mangium; Hawkeswood (1990) added A. aulacocarpa and A. leptostachya..
