Ecological Descriptors

Adult: diurnal, florivore (associated flora: Bursaria spinosa Cav. [PITTOSPORACEAE] Boxthorn; Cassinia aculeata (Labill.) R.Br. [ASTERACEAE] Dolly Bush; Leptospermum spp. [MYRTACEAE] Tea-trees; Cassinia spp. [ASTERACEAE]; Helichrysum spp. [ASTERACEAE]), volant.

Larva: wood-borer.

Extra Ecological Information

Cowie (2001) recorded this species from Helichrysum spp., Cassinia spp. Bursaria spinosa and Leptospermum spp.
