A northern hemisphere taxon recorded as a "naturalized alien" by A.J.Ewart Vict. Naturalist 24: 191 (1908), and by B.K.Simon, Tech. Bull. Bot. Branch. Dept Prim. Industr. Queensl. 3: 18 (1978), but does not appear to have persisted as a naturalised plant in Australia.
