The Australian Plant Name Index (APNI) is a tool for the botanical community that deals with plant names and their usage in the scientific literature, whether as a current name or synonym. APNI does not recommend any particular taxonomy or nomenclature. APC Comment:An Asian taxon, recorded by F.Mueller, Fragm. 9: 174 (1875) and Syst. Census Austral. Pl. 8 (1882) and F.M.Bailey, Compr. Cat. Queensland Pl. 54 (1913), but not known to occur in Australia.
