Fabaceae Lindl.
Acacia undulata Spin , nom. illeg., nom. superfl.scientific apni Spin, Marquis de (1818), Le Jardin de St. Sebastien Edn. 2: 27 [nom. nov.]
replaced synonym: Acacia paradoxa DC. legitimate
  • Text: "Habitat in Nova Hollandia?"
  • Comment: Spin repeats the original description of Acacia paradoxa DC., adding information from flowering and fruiting material that was not available to de Candolle. This is here considered to be an illegitimate renaming of de Candolle's species rather than an attempt to publish a new taxon.
  • Comment: The name ?Acacia undulata Spin var. undulata? is listed by A.D.Chapman, Austral. Pl. Name Index 90 (1991), but this autonym does not exist, in accordance with ICN Art. 27.2 (Melbourne Code, 2012).
