APNI does not recommend any particular taxonomy or nomenclature. Comment: Hooker attributes this name to Endlicher [i.e. S.F.L.Endlicher, Gen. Pl. 10: 787 (1839)]. While Endlicher lists the name Myrrhis andicola Kunth in the text under his new genus Oreomyrrhis he does not definitely associate the genus name with the specific epithet as required by ICN Art. 35.2 (Melbourne Code, 2012).
