Australian Plant Name Index (APNI)
The Australian Plant Name Index (APNI) is a tool for the botanical community that deals with plant names and their usage in the scientific literature, whether as a current name or synonym. APNI does not recommend any particular taxonomy or nomenclature. Etymology:"The species epithet burungu was chosen in consultation with Eastern Kuku Yalanji Traditional Owners and is a name for the place where one of the populations is found. The epithet is a noun in apposition as outlined under ICN Art. 23.1 (Shenzhen Code, see Turland et al. 2018)."
