The Australian Plant Name Index (APNI) is a tool for the botanical community that deals with plant names and their usage in the scientific literature, whether as a current name or synonym. APNI does not recommend any particular taxonomy or nomenclature. Comment: Bentham attributes this name to "F. Muell. Fragm. vi. 48" [i.e. F.J.H. von Mueller, Fragm. 6: 48 (1867)], where it is given only in synonymy. Bentham is here accepted as the sole author of the new combination following ICN Art. 46.4 (Shenzhen Code, 2018), regardless of Mueller's contributions to the publication as a whole being acknowledged on the title page.
