Text: "The plant commonly cultivated under the name 'Freckle Face', 'Pink-Dot' or 'Baby's-Tears' with white or pink spots on the green leaves, is a species of Hypoestes, probably H. phyllostachya Bak.. It is recorded as a garden escape in Queensland and has also been noted as esablished in a lawn on G.T.Short's property at Curramulka in South Australia."
