  • Type: "NE of Pingrup [precise locality withheld], Western Australia, 30 August 1978, K. Newbey 5112 p.p. (holo: NSW, female: iso: CANB, K, MEL, PERTH (2 sheets)). The other material in Newbey 5112 is male material of the same taxon.
  • Etymology: "The epithet is taken from the Latin adjective abditus - secret, hidden, referring to the isolated occurrence of this taxon, so far from the other populations of the species."
