APC Comment: Included in the synonymy of C. lane-poolei by de Laubenfels & Adema (1998). Intergradation is recorded between C. conferta and C. armstrongii (Hill, 1998). Hybrids are recorded between Cycas calcicola Maconochie and Cycas conferta Chirgwin (R.A.Kerrigan & D.E.Albrecht "Checklist of NT Vascular Plant Species" (Mar. 2007)). -
