Etymology: "The epithet, arnhemica, is derived from the place name, Arnhem Land, and the Latin adjectival suffix ica (pertaining to), in reference to its only known location at the time Perer Taylor described this species in 1986. Namely, on the Arnhem Land sandstone escarpment in the Nothern Territory."
