Australian Plant Name Index (APNI)
The Australian Plant Name Index (APNI) is a tool for the botanical community that deals with plant names and their usage in the scientific literature, whether as a current name or synonym. APNI does not recommend any particular taxonomy or nomenclature. APC Comment:S.W.L.Jacobs & J.Pickard, Pl. New South Wales 83 (1981) and A.D.Chapman, Austral. Pl. Name Index 550 (1991) list the name Olearia tomentosa subsp. tomentosa, but this autonym does not exist, in accordance with ICBN Art. 27.2 (Vienna Code) (2006).
