Comment: A.D.Chapman, Austral. Pl. Name Index 2396 (1991), lists "Prasophyllum ovale var. triglochin R.Rogers" as a nom. illeg., non Rchb.f. (1871). While Rogers does not cite an author for the varietal name, other nomenclatural novelties published in the same paper are clearly indicated (e.g. by the notation "n. sp." or "n. comb."). This is here treated as a secondary reference rather than an attempt by Rogers to publish a new name.
