Australian Plant Name Index (APNI)
The Australian Plant Name Index (APNI) is a tool for the botanical community that deals with plant names and their usage in the scientific literature, whether as a current name or synonym. APNI does not recommend any particular taxonomy or nomenclature. For a listing of currently accepted scientific names for the Australian vascular flora, please use the Australian Plant Census (APC) link above.
Comment:Name cited (with a brief description) in a key to Loranthus species. Although Blakely may not have intended to publish the name here, but in the Proceedings of the Linnean Society of New Society of New South Wales 49(2): 94 (1924), where he cites Tieghem and describes the taxon in detail, the name appears to have been effectively published in the 1922 key.
Type:[many syntypes cited but without indication of the type].
Comment:Blakely refers to Treubella amplexans Tieghem, Bull. Soc. Bot. France 42 (1895) 87, but the name is given there without a description or diagnosis.
