Comment: Although the specific epithets listed by Kuntze indicate neuter gender, this generic name is here treated as feminine in accordance with ICN Art. 62.4 (Melbourne Code, 2012). -
Comment: Kuntze lists the name as "Erigerodes L. (1747) fl. zeyl. 197", but this work was published before the 1 May 1753 starting-date for valid publication of names in Spermatophyta (ICN Art. 13.1, Melbourne Code, 2012).
