Micheli, M. in Candolle, A.L.P.P. & Candolle, A.C.P. (1881), Alismaceae, Butomaceae, Juncagineae. Monographiae Phanerogamarum 3: 108 [tax. nov.]
nomenclatural synonym: Triglochin dubia R.Br. legitimate taxonomic synonym: Triglochin lineare Endl. legitimate
  • Text: "(T. lineare Endl.; T. dubium Brown ex specimine in herb. Brown in Brit. Mus. servato)."
  • Comment: A.D.Chapman, Austral. Pl. Name Index 2905 (1991), includes Micheli's text "In aquis stagnantibus Australiae praecipue extratropicae et Tasmaniae frequens, a plerisque viatoribus collecta (Brown, Drummond n. 314, Preiss n. 2405 et 2406, Hügel, Caley, Wavra, Gunner, etc.)" as part of the type citation for this variety. However, as noted by H.I.Aston, Muelleria 8: 344-345 (1995), this text refers to Micheli's concept of Triglochin procerum as a whole.
