Euphorbiaceae Juss.
Aporosa Blume , legitimate, scientific
Blume, C.(K.)L. von (1826), Bijdragen tot de Flora van Nederlandsch Indie 10: 514 [tax. nov.]
  • Type: Aporosa frutescens Blume
  • Comment: Orthographic variants include APORUSA C.L.Blume in C.L. Blume & Fischer, Fl. Jav. 1 (1828) vi, which may be the orthography preferred on the basis of Art. 73.1, I.C.B.N., 1978 as it seems to be the more correct latinisation of the Greek. See note by L.Croizat, Bull. Bot. Buitenzorg ser. 3, 17 (1942) 217–218 entitled `APOROSA versus APORUSA'; and H.K.Airy Shaw, Kew Bull. 20 (1966) 380, who accepts `APORUSA'.
