Podocarpus grayae de Laub. , legitimate, scientific
Laubenfels, D.J. de (1985), A taxonomic revision of the genus Podocarpus. Blumea 30(2): 275 [tax. nov.]
  • Type: "Brass 20203 (holo, L; iso A, BRI, K), Annan R., Cape York, N. Queensland."
  • Etymology: "(Named for the late Netta E. Gray.)"
  • Comment: The specific epithet was published by de Laubenfels as "grayii" but he also states that the taxon was named in honour of one female person with the surname Gray. The epithet is thus corrected here to grayae in accordance with ICN Art. 60.8 (Shenzhen Code, 2018).
