Fabaceae Lindl.
Wisteria maideniana (F.M.Bailey) C.Moore , legitimate, scientific
Moore, C. (1893), Handbook of the Flora of New South Wales: 517 [comb. nov.]
basionym: Millettia maideniana F.M.Bailey legitimate
  • Comment: Moore cites this name as "Wistaria Maideniana, Bail." but also lists "Milletia Maideniana, Bail." in synonymy. Since it appears that he adopted the epithet from Bailey's name that had been published the year before but placed the species in a different genus, authorship is here attributed to Moore alone following ICN Art. 46.4 (Shenzhen Code, 2018).
