• Text: "Vickery (1950) was uncertain of the identity of the type material of this name because of the poor condition of the specimens. It seemed likely that it was either A. strictus or A. caricinus, and if it were to be established as the latter, then the name A. gracilis would take priority. Vickery regarded that as undesirable and recommended excluding the name from further nomenclatural consideration. Her observations and conclusions are concurred with here."
