  • Comment: St.Cloud cites "White" as the author of this name, which may indicate an intention to publish a new combination based on Dendrobium phalaenopsis var. compactum C.T.White. However, there is no full and direct reference to a basionym as required by ICN Art. 41.5 (Melbourne Code, 2012) and St.Cloud does not provide the information necessary to publish a new taxon name.
