Comment:This name is attributed to "Domin, Prodr. p. 45 (under Dryopteris)". Bailey indicates in his "Prefatory Notice" (p. iii) that he had been sent an advance copy of Domin's treatment of "the ferns and their allies" but effective publication of the relevant section of Domin's work [Biblioth. Bot. 20(85): 45–46 (Oct. 1914)] post-dates that of Bailey. This designation is thus not validly published.
