Text:
"Publication [Cat. Horti Camald. 1: 172 (1829)] not found but species, if valid, described from cultivated material. The name is certainly published in ed. 2, 1: 172 (1839), and there an origin in Tasmania is suggested. S. Schauer, in 1841, considered this to be L. grandiflorum (publ. 1821)." [This appears to be erroneous - edition 2 of Cat. Horti Camald. was published in 1832, and the name does not appear anywhere in that work. Thompson's citation ("1: 172 (1839)") matches that of Dehnhardt's publication in Rivista Napolitana].
