• APC Comment: Although included in the synonymy of Stackhousia monogyna by W.R.Barker, Fl. Austral. 22: 188 (1984), Stackhousia gunnii Hook.f., nom. illeg. is currently recognised as a distinct taxon in Tas and elsewhere, but lacks a legitimate name (A.M.Buchanan, Census Vasc. Pl. Tasmania 4th edn. 54 (2005)). A paper discussing this taxon and giving it a legitimate name is currently in press (Barker, 2006).
