"Vickery (Contr. New South Wales Natl. Herb. 2: 304 , 1856) was unable to identify the type of this variety from among Drummond's collection, and so there can be no positive conclusion as to its identity. She surmised that it was an impoverished specimen of Austrodanthonia caespitosa."
