A.D.Chapman, Austral. Pl. Name Index 2827 (1991), indicates that this name was not validly published by Clarke as it was placed "under an invalid genus". Clarke cites the name as "Tetraria (Eu-Tetraria) australiensis" and indicates in a note on p. 81 that the species belongs in a new section, "Eu-Tetraria". Chapman appears to have misinterpreted this as a genus name.
-
This name is ascribed to "C. B. Clarke" and Clarke is also credited at the end of the treatment of Tetraria. Clarke is thus here accepted as the author of the name following ICN Art. 46.2 (Shenzhen Code, 2018).
