Asteraceae Bercht. & J.Presl
Pterocaulon globuliflorum W.Fitzg. , legitimate, scientific
Fitzgerald, W.V. (1918), The Botany of the Kimberleys, north-west Australia. Journal and Proceedings of the Royal Society of Western Australia 3: 223 BHL [tax. nov.]
  • Type: "Wingrah Pass, Napier Range (W.V.F.)."
  • Text: "...clusters of flower-heads globose..."
  • Comment: This is probably the validation of "Pterocaulon globuliflorus" published without a description by Fitzgerald, Western Mail 21(1068): 9, 25 (16 June 1906), as the localities given are the same. Fitzgerald (1918) gives the name as "globuliforus" but this is treated here as a correctable error for "globuliflorum".
