  • Type: "Holotypus: n.v. – probably destroyed. Isotypi: E.Betche s.n., -.x.1886, Girilambone, MEL38937 (fl.)!, NSW99306 (fl., fr.)!" The isotype in NSW (the only one with fruits) is mixed H. odontocarpa forma rugosa & forma pterocarpa. Orchard (1975) suggested that Schindler had material of the latter, which formed the holotype, and confirmed this suggestion in Flora of Australia 18: 12 (1990).
