  • Comment: nom. illeg. non Willd. (1799). Stafleu & Cowan, Tax. Lit. ed. 2, 1 (1976) 51 give the author as "probably ... John Kennedy", but as there is no such indication in the work itself, Andrews has been accepted here as the author.

  • Text: "The epithets Pultenaea villosa Andrews and Aotus villosa Sm. are based on the same plate in Andrews (1803). From examining the plate it is clear that it is a later synonym of Aotus ericoides (Vent.) G.Don. (see also Thompson 1961).
