  • APC Comment: M.D.Tindale & P.G.Kodela, Fl. Australia 11A: 230 (2001), indicate that the protologue for Acacia filicifolia Cheel & M.B.Welch is J. & Proc. Roy. Soc. New South Wales 65: 232 (4 Mar. 1932) and that the name was only used in anticipation of its future acceptance in the earlier publication in J. & Proc. Roy. Soc. New South Wales 65: 225 (3 Mar. 1932) . However, there is no indication of this in the earlier work and it meets the requirements for valid publication under the ICN (Melbourne Code, 2012).
