"Quirk et al. (1983, p. 540) cited the type of the name Cheilanthes caudata as ‘Holotypus. R. Brown: Port II (= Port Clinton, Qld, 1802-5) (BM)’. This is here treated as effective lectotypification by Quirk et al., in accordance with ICN Art. 7.11 (Turland et al. 2018). Because their citation meets the relevant requirements of ICN Art. 7.11, the use of the term ‘Holotypus’ is correctable under ICN Art. 9.10."
