Preiss. 2(1): 76 (1846), indicates that Cladium glomeratum R.Br., belongs in the genus Chapelliera but does not definitely associate the species epithet with the generic name as required by ICBN Art. 33.1 (2006)). However, the combination was later validly made in the index by indirect reference to the basionym.
