• Etymology: "I dedicate this species in honour of Mrs. Elizabeth Clunies-Ross who, with Mrs. Kettlewell and myself, founded the Australian Wattle Day League in the year 1909, and who was, for some years, Honorary Treasurer of the Sydney Branch. It also commemorates her late husband, an esteemed member of this Society for many years and a Vice-President of the League."
