• Comment: Combination indicated but not made by K.Domin, Repert. Spec. Nov. Regni Veg. 10: 60 (1911). Domin indicates his 1911 reference as the place of publication of the varietal name and that Patersonia subalpina was also published by himself in that work, having been taken up from herbarium annotations by F.J.H. von Mueller. This is here treated as an indirect reference to the basionym with a correctable error in the author citation under ICN Art 41.3 (Melbourne Code, 2012).
