Cambridge, 30 m deep, on fine quartz sand with old shells and limestone nodules; forming patches 5–6 m diam. with sparse Heterozostera tasmanica (Marteens ex Asch.) den Hartog and Halopila ovalis (R.Br.) Hook.f., occasional flowers, (holo.: PERTH (Fig. 3), iso.: AD, K)."
