Hakea pampliniana Kippist and H. vittata R.Br. were both previously accepted by Mueller on page 70 of the Systematic Census (1882) but H. vittata was the only one treated in Mueller's Second Systematic Census p. 120 (1889). Therefore H. vittata is here treated as being the accepted name in this Supplement with H. pampliniana in synonymy.
