Type:
"Our drawing ... was made from a specimen which flowered in the possession of Messrs. Low and Son, Nurserymen, Clapton, in October, 1849." [Lindley (1850) gives "Australia ... was received by Messrs. Low and Co., of Clapton, from a correspondent at Sydney, who had received it from Hunter's River. I have specimens from a small swamp of sand and peat at Port Stephens, where it was collected by Mr Alexander Burnett."
