  • Etymology: "Oρειτης monticola. Hi Frutices enim in summis montibus crescunt."
  • Comment: Although the epithets of the original species described under Orites by Brown indicate feminine gender, the genus name is here treated as masculine in accordance with ICN Art. 62.4 (Shenzhen Code, 2018).
